Joulukuun 15. päivän hysteria sai suorastaan tragikoomisen piirteen päivänä, jolloin Los Angelesin koulut olivat pommiuhan takia suljettuna.

Kaikille tieto pommiuhasta ei tullut ajoissa...

Tapahtumapaikka (LA Times)
17-vuotias International Charter High Schoolin lukiolaispoika Andres Perez of Montebello lähti kouluun niin kuin muinakin aamuina.

Ylittäessään katua Highland Parkin kohdalla poika jäi kaupunkin jakeluauton alle ja kuoli. Jos tieto pommiuhkasta olisi lähtenyt hieman aiemmin, pojan henki olisi säästynyt!
